BAREFOOT Kitchen, the Cornish lifestyle emporium, has a new take on the Cornish cream tea for Whitsun.
Savoury scones, made in the Barefoot kitchen with rosemary from the Barefoot Kitchen garden are served with either St Endellion or Cornish Camembert and Barefoot's own delicious chilli jam.
Pop into the café, high up on the cliffs overlooking Mount's Bay in Gunwalloe, and experience the expansive sea views and cosy woodburner.
Not only are there cream teas, but warming soups on cooler days as well as paninis, cakes, delicious leaf tea, there's Origin coffee and hot chocolate dippers made in Cornwall.
Or if you arrive with your dog from the coastal path, borrow one of the rugs and sit outside and watch the sun dance across the ocean.
The shop sells products designed by Barefoot from tea towels to pestle and mortars, sea glass jewellery to bellyboards.
There are also tiffin tins perfect for picnic fare, ghilli kettles, rugs galore and beautiful Cornish oak platters, made in the village.
The latest Barefoot film features Chris Hines (founder of Surfers Against Sewage) and Paul Peyser (surgeon at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro ) surfing, cooking and talking about making a difference.
