Barefoot Bootloop

BOOTLOOP - OUTDOOR ART MEETS FUNCTIONAL NECESSITY

Barefoot designers, striving to marry beauty with practicality, have developed a welly boot rack that is a piece of sculpture in its own right. The raw metal bootloop has beautiful flowing lines, curves and loops. As well as a welly stand suitable for storing up to four pairs of wellies, the bootloop has an extra loop for use as a ‘boot jack’.
Looking as stylish beside the front door as mounted in a hallway, the design emerged when the Barefoot team started to get cold feet and retrieved their wellies last autumn. Rethinking the standard boot rack, wellie boot storage became an obsession and the bootloop was born.
Designed and handmade in Cornwall, the bootloop wellie rack is destined to become a British design classic.

Made from genuine recycled Genoa sails our comfy cubes show their sea going history 'warts and all'!

Each 18 inch cube is unique, and skillfully handmade by Dave, our friendly Cornish sail maker. We stuffed ours with recycled plastic bags so that they are equally useable for both inside and outdoor living.

Barefoot Windbreaks - old sails with a new lease of life.

Our Barefoot windbreaks are made from recycled spinnaker sails (check out our blog to see one of the sails being unfurled on the headland in front of our clifftop shop).

Each windbreak is unique and skillfully handmade by Dave, our friendly Cornish sail maker. Not for you if you want a sterile windbreak, ours proudly show the character of their previous life at sea. Dan's Plates

Contemporary and 100% natural solid ash plates made for Barefoot by our next door neighbour here in Gunwalloe. Each plate is handmade from a piece of Cornish ash and has beautiful, unique markings. Just the thing for serving up salads on the beach, won’t break and with care will last a lifetime or even longer. Up to you what oil you use to unleash the patina and protect the grain but we rather like olive oil.
